Know all about XAT 2019

XLRI Jamshedpur. XAT 2019 will be held in the first week of January 2019 in online mode. XAT 2019 score is being used by XLRI and 150+ colleges for the admission.

XAT 2019 will be conducted across 47 cities across India and 2 abroad cities — Dubai and Kathmandu. Around 90,000 candidates take the entrance exam every year.

The duration for the XAT 2019 entrance exam is 3 hours and 35 minutes. The syllabus of XAT is divided into five sections: Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA & DI), General Knowledge, Essay Writing.

Each question carries 1 mark and for each incorrect answer, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks. Leaving a question unattempted may result in a deduction of 0.05 mark. However this deduction will not apply for a maximum of 12 unattempted questions.

XAT registration and application form will be available from third week of August 2018 in the online mode only. The last date to fill XAT application will be last week of November 2018 (without late fee) and second week of December 2018 (with late fee).

Students can download the XAT 2019 admit card from the last week of December 2018. To download XAT admit card/ hall ticket, students will have to sign in with their login credentials — XAT ID and Password, which they have been provided at the time of registration by the exam authorities.

The XAT 2019 official answer key will be available within 10 days of the conclusion of the entrance test along with the questions.

The result of XAT 2019 will be announced in the last week of January 2019 by XLRI Jamshedpur. The XAT result will be released in the form of score card. The cutoff of XAT 2019 will be announced along with the result by the conducting body.
