Common Management Admission Test
(CMAT) is a national level management PG entrance exam held by AICTE
(All India Council for Technical Education) every year as per the
directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
CMAT exam is a 3 hour computer based online examination which is held in a single session to evaluate the student’s ability across various segments like Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Quantitative Technique.
The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE approved Colleges/ Universities/ Constituent Colleges/ Affiliated Colleges. CMAT 2018 exam will be conducted on 20 January 2018 across 70 cities in India.
To apply CMAT 2018, students must be a Indian citizena and should be Graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) can also apply for CMAT online exam.
CMAT Application Form is available from 18 October to 18 December 2017. The application can be filled in online mode only. The application fee is Rs.1400 for Gen/OBC students and Rs. 700 for SC/ST/Pwd/Female students.
As per the CMAT exam pattern, the test is divided into 4 sections:
CMAT result is to be released in the 2nd week of February 2018 in the online mode only. AICTE will also release the score card along with the result. Students can prints their score card by entering their login details. On the basis of result, a merit list will be release. On the basis of merit list, each participating colleges will release their cutoffs. Students must meet participating colleges’ cutoffs in order to be selected for the next round of selection process — GD, PI, WAT.
