AIPMT 2016 will be conducted on May 01, as per the official release
announced by exam conducting body Central Board of Secondary Education
(CBSE) announced on December 7, 2015.
As per CBSE officials, the All India Pre Medical/Pre Dental Test (AIPMT) 2016 application form can be filled in online mode from third week of December, 2015.
AIPMT 2016 is national level undergraduate medical entrance exam taken by around 6 lakh candidates for admission to approximately 3200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats under 15% All India Quota in Government medical and dental colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir states.
Candidates who will be completing 17 years of age on before December 31, 2016 are eligible to apply for AIPMT 2016. As per the AIPMT 2016 eligibility criteria, candidates must have appeared or will be appearing class 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (PCB) with 50% marks for General and 40% for SC / ST / OBC category candidates.
The application form of AIPMT 2016 can be filled in online mode and fee can be remitted either using online payment gateway or through prescribed bank challan. Candidates are advised to read the application procedure carefully before beginning the online registration for the exam.
AIPMT 2016 will be conducted in pen & paper based mode. According to AIPMT 2016 exam pattern the question booklet will have 45 questions from each Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and botany subjects.
The result of AIPMT 2016 will be declared in the month of June for those candidates who will score the qualifying marks. Based on the marks scored, all India merit list will be prepared and accordingly MBBS and BDS seats will be allotted to them as per their preference.
